Does submitting a work now enter HKAIIFF 2027, or only create a record?

Festival entry, INDEX registration and an MCN application are separate actions. HKAIIFF 2027 entries open on 1 October 2026 and close at 23:59 Hong Kong time on 1 March 2027. The fee is US$99 per work across all categories, with no early or late tiers. Works must be completed on or after 1 August 2026; no premiere is required. Use the formal entry workflow at hkaiiff.io. Creating or buying an INDEX does not enter a competition. The 2027 festival event dates remain to be announced.
