If AI generates most of the images, what creative work should the director explain?

Explain the decisions you made and how they shaped the finished work: story structure, visual direction, performance choices, selection between generations, editing, sound and the final version. Keep representative drafts, iteration records and tool/version information that support your account. HKAIIFF’s 51% standard considers AI participation across creative dimensions; a percentage of generated frames alone is not the whole assessment. Distinguish tool output from human direction and team contributions. Do not disclose confidential client material or another person’s private data merely to make a process document longer. Eligibility and artistic evaluation remain separate decisions.
