What should I prepare if my film uses a cloned voice or a recognisable digital likeness?

Identify whose voice or likeness appears and keep the relevant written permission and source-material rights in the project’s rights file. Specify whether permission covers synthesis, editing, promotion, public screening and commercial distribution; a general appearance release may not answer all of those questions. Where consent or authority is missing or disputed, resolve it before presenting the work as rights-cleared. Be especially careful about sensitive uses and onward reuse by buyers. A generated image, festival acceptance or INDEX record does not supply a person’s consent. Applicable personality, privacy and copyright rules depend on the jurisdiction.
