Does entering the festival or discussing a licence allow my film to be used for AI training?

Do not assume that festival submission, screening permission, promotional use, distribution licensing and AI training permission are interchangeable. Read the actual terms and consent fields for the action you are taking. If a buyer proposes training, fine-tuning, dataset inclusion or synthetic reuse of characters or voices, ask for a separate written scope covering the material, permitted purpose, parties, duration, onward transfer, compensation and removal or termination conditions. A public INDEX page or a request for a quotation does not itself supply those permissions. Only an authorised rights holder can agree to the applicable use; record what was actually agreed.
